WHAT HAPPENED?
Neymar joined his boyhood club Santos as a free agent having terminated his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal after the Brazilian was told he was not up to par for Jorge Jesus' side. The 33-year-old made his debut against Botafogo and failed to guide Santos to a win in his first three games. However, Neymar led the Peixe to a 3-1 victory on Sunday as he bagged his first goal from the spot after winning a penalty at the end of one of his classic slalom dribbles. The former Barcelona star also got an assist as he slid a pass to Guilherme, who scored the third goal of the night to top off what was a stellar performance from the Brazilian winger.
