THE BIGGER PICTURE
Miami were able to celebrate a first goal for Luis Suarez during the game. The Uruguayan slotted home a loose ball to open his account for the MLS side.
Messi, too, got on the board, scoring from the penalty spot to make it 3-2 before David Ruis leveled the match just one minute later with a goal of his own. Yet Tata Martino will want far more from his talented line-up as they prepare for the start of a new season as the defense capitulated in a 4-3 defeat.
